Erica Simone Barnett is a Black and Cuban American storyteller born, raised, and based in New York City. Known for her witty edge and versatile skill set, she has made a splash in the industry from an early age.

She was last seen onstage in A Sign of the Times Off-Broadway directed by Gabriel Barre and choreographed by JoAnn Hunter!

Erica credits her hometown for making her the person and the performer she is today. She deeply believes in honesty, empathy, kindness and always doing the right thing. Growing up in Saint Albans, Queens, and attending school in Hell’s Kitchen, she is prone to vibrant energy and diverse environments. Erica’s training includes the Professional Performing Arts School and Broadway Dance Center’s Children and Teen Program/AIM Company. She attended the University of Michigan’s Musical Theater program for two semesters before joining the first national tour of Mean Girls. Erica is the sister of three incredible siblings and the proud cat mom to Lola, the sphynx.
